Apple has released the latest watchOS version, watchOS 8.4. This is a smaller update, which provides a charging bug fix which was occurring for some users.
The issue at hand was that some chargers would not function as expected. This was due to a software issue, which Apple has now addressed with the latest watchOS 8.4 update.
The update does not include any other features, only a few minor bug fixes. This new software version is available globally, and you can download it by heading to the Watch App on iPhone > Update > Install watchOS 8.4.
It is a 200mb update, and you can install this on any Series 3 or later. Make sure to keep your iPhone near your Apple Watch will updating, and ensure the watch has at least 50% battery life or is connected to a charger.
The update is stable so far, and performance is expected to remain the same as watchOS 8.3. Will you be updating to the watchOS 8.4?
