Although Apple announced their innovative 3-in-1 wireless charger AirPower last year, the project never arrived in the hands of customers. Apple canceled AirPower in the beginning of the year, but they now sell a similar product from mophie exclusively at Apple. Fate loves irony.
Mophie now exclusively sells a 3-in-1 wireless charger at Apple. Although the general shape and design looks similar to AirPower, it does not have the same technical capabilities (like Apple envisioned on being able to place a device anywhere on the charging mat with a seamless iOS integration).
Mophie’s charging pad has dedicated charging spots for the Apple Watch, wireless AirPods, and an iPhone. Although we haven’t tested it yet, the charging pad looks promising. It’s only available in black and costs $139,95 (get it here). Also take a look at this impromptu unboxing on YouTube below.
